"My name is Sergeant First Class (RET) Steven Gove, I served 21 years active duty in the US Army. I have worn every elite unit's head gear from a Drill Sergeant hat to a Green Beret. I served with 173rd Air Borne, 82nd Air Borne, C Company (ABN) 75th Rangers (INF) ~ South East Asia Aug 1970 - Aug 1971. 12th SFG Adviser, and & 7th SFG. The first photo is me showing my brick at the Ranger Memorial at a Rendezvous at Ft Benning, GA. The second photo is of the diorama Al Conrad made and gave to me at his Christmas Party in Tennessee 2014. We are both members of the US Paratrooper Association. I have made 1/6 scale figures in accurate military uniforms, but this diorama depicts ME from a photo of me in Viet Nam in 1971. I am thrilled to have it!  The detail is really exceptional. Al went to a lot of trouble to find just the right accessories and camouflage just like the picture. Having made 1/6 scale figures, I know what it takes, and Al did an outstanding job!"

"Normally attached to Company B, 4/503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade (Sep). This is me on Hill 875 and I was temporarily attached to Company A 2/503rd for this battle on Hill 875; BY MISTAKE, I might add (LOL). I was in Nam from December 1966-April 1968 with the 173rd and again in 1971-1972 with the 196th Light Infantry Brigade as an advisor to the ARVN Rangers. I LOVE this diorama and it may have been the first one that Al Conrad ever made.

"Al made this for me over a year ago. It sits proudly where all can see it. It is a depiction of how we operated in Nam..It is very good and his attention to detail is remarkable. I would suggest that you order one. It will be a great treasure and something to brag about to your brothers and sisters."

"Just wanted to take a moment and pen this sentiment. I've been witness to many of SFC Conrad's PIR Customs work
and am now the proud owner of my own mini hero. While I have zero accomplishments to be considered a hero I absolutely am impressed with my figure.   Thanks SFC Conrad.   It will be cherished for the rest of my life, and the lives of my children."
